Viale Stazione 36 30171 Venice Plaza Hotel is situated along a road directly opposite the entrance of the Venice-Mestre's train station.(25 metres) With the train it is a 8 minutes journey to Venice St Lucia train station.(€1 one-way). Bus number 2 stops in front of the hotel and takes passengers in 12 minutes to Venice. Our hotel room was large, very clean and standard furnished. We booked also a twin room for our children and this one was smaller. The 'double bed' in our room were 2 twin beds next to each other (1.60 by 1.90) with good mattresses. The airco was quite and worked very well. It kept the room cold without any problems. During our holiday in Italy we had quite often problems with the airco's. The bathroom has a good size but the bath was just big enough to sit in. The hotel has 2 breakfast rooms: a larger one and a small one. We prefered the small breakfast room. The larger one is more for groups. The internet connection in the hotel is €10/hour which is not cheap. We went therefore to an internet cafe, which was in a street around the corner, 5 minutes away. (€2.50/hour). In that street you also find some Chinese shops for cold drinks and food. We paid €85 for one twin room per night. |
