This airport is connected to the center of Venice by scheduled bus services. Travel time for Line 35 is 20 minutes, fare is 3 Euro. This bus has a luggage compartment below. Buses drive between 8.20 and 0.10 to Piazzale Roma. Easyjet, Ryanair and other budget airliners land at Treviso Airport. This smaller airport is 30 km from Venice. The ATVO Eurobus is the cheapest transportation. Travel time to the center of Venice is one hour and 10 minutes. Fare is 4.5 Euro. The bus makes also two stops in the Mestre district (incl. at the Mestre train station). The Mestre district is on the mainland. A bridge called 'Ponte della Liberta' connects Mestre district with Venice. At the end of the bridge is the 'Santa Lucia train station. Here is also the bus station and car terminal. |
