Ca’Pesaro in Venice
Ca’Pesaro is a palazzo along the Grand Canal. The palazzo was built in the 17th century for the wealthy Pesaro family. Inside are the Museum of Modern Art and on the upper floor the Museum of Oriental Art.

Museum of Oriental Art
The Museum contains an important collection of Japanese art of the Edo period. There are more than 30.000 objects including Indonesian and Chinese art.
Transportation
Water bus line 1 and line 2 have a stop at ‘San Stae’. This is closeby Ca’Pesaro. Public water bus line 1 operates between Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia train station, Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Square to Lido island. It takes 8 minutes to sail from Santa Lucia Station to San Stae. Every 10 minutes a water bus arrives to pick up/bring passengers. From Santa Lucia station to the museum is a 30-minute walk.
