Venice bus station
The Venice bus station is at Piazzale Roma next to the Grand Canal. Destinations are the municipal area of Venice (including Mestre), the airports and to neighbor cities as Chioggia, Adria and Padova. At Piazzale Roma are also a taxi stand and car parking terminals.

From Tronchetto - nearby Piazzale Roma - depart the Eurolines bus to Rome and the international busses to Prague, Vienna, Budapest, France, Spain, London, Germany and Amsterdam.
On the picture is the Grand Canal and a stair leading to Piazzale Roma. The bus station is just a short walk from Santa Lucia train station. Walk along the Grand Canal to the church with the green roof (400 metres). Cross the Grand Canal on the Scalzi Bridge (in the background). On your left (150 meter) is Santa Lucia Station. If you don't want to walk: Piazzale Roma has a boat stop for water buses. It is just one stop to Santa Lucia Train Station (3 minutes).
Airport bus - Venice
Two bus companies (ATVO and ACTV) have services from the bus station at Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo Airport and Treviso Airport. Busses depart from Piazzale Roma. Tickets are sold in the offices at Piazzale Roma or from self-service ticket machines.
bus to Mestre station
Several urban bus lines goes along the Mestre railway station. For example Line 5 to Marco Polo Airport, Line 2 to Don Sturzo and line N1. A bus ticket from Mestre to Piazzale Roma cost €1. The bus driver also sell tickets for €1.50 between 8.00 and 19.00. Tickets can be purchased in tobacco- and coffee shops. Tickets must be stamped on the bus.
car parking & Eurolines
Tronchetto is an area just behind the Piazzale Roma (850m). It's connected to Piazzale Roma by a public transit system (venice people mover) and the trip takes 3 minutes.
All traffic from the mainland must cross the Liberty Bridge (5km) and can then go to Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma. The cheaper car parking terminals are on Tronchetto. The car parking terminals at Piazzale Roma are closer to the centre but more expensive. The Eurolines busses depart from Tronchetto.
